Tongs for hookah coal

Our grandmothers and grandfathers already had the painful experience of burning their fingers on hot, glowing coals. While we no longer use coal stoves, hookah smoking is now fashionable and popular, so handling hot coals is becoming commonplace again. To avoid burning your fingers while handling the coals, pick up one of the tongs from Kaya Shisha.

Available in different designs

The inexpensive tongs are made of metal, usually stainless steel. They come in different sizes and shapes. Our sturdy versions made of thick stainless steel in the shape of a dagger are popular and add a modern touch to your smoking ambience. In addition to classic tongs, we offer special models with a coal hammer to knock off ash residues on the coal pieces or with wooden or silicone grip surfaces to protect your hands from burns even better.

When exactly do you need coal tongs?

Whether for chimney attachments, heat managers or a classic construction foil head, as soon as the hot coal cubes need to be moved, tapped or shifted, you should use the appropriate tongs. Charcoal tongs are even more practical when preparing hookah charcoal, especially when using an electric coal lighter, as the coals should be rotated on the heater for even glowing. You can also use them to hold quick lighting coals while lighting them. Because sparks are often released during this process, we recommend the additional use of a suitable charcoal basket.
