What makes the Square molasses catcher

The Square molasses catcher is a hookah shaft made of transparent glass. It is available with either an 18.8 or 29.2 ground glass joint. The insert has a decorative element in the form of an umbrella inside the square glass part.

What does the Square molasses catcher do?

With tobacco that is excessively enriched with hookah molasses, it is common for an excess of this aromatic humectant to escape during smoking and drip through the bowl into the hookah. The Square molasses catcher catches this excess by gathering the molasses, which is dissolved by the air flow, inside the collector. Meanwhile, the smoke passes unhindered through the holes of the umbrella-shaped application in the middle of the molasses catcher. From there, it is directed to the water chamber. By trapping molasses in advance, the Square glass shaft helps to keep the hookah clean for a longer period of time and simplifies cleaning afterwards.

Range of application

This molasses catcher serves as an extension for hookahs made of glass or metal with the corresponding connection size. The Square insert can be used with both 18.8 and 29.2 ground glass joints as a hookah stem or stem extension.

A shaft with 18.8 ground glass joint can be used, among other things:
